Keep your recovery phrase private

A recovery phrase can give someone control of a wallet. Treat it as a private credential, not a support reference number.

Do not send it through chat, email, forms or screenshots. CryptoLiveHelp does not need it to explain a wallet concern. The same rule applies to private keys, passwords and authentication codes.

Be cautious of pages that ask you to validate or synchronise a wallet by entering secret information. Reach official documentation independently rather than following an unsolicited support link. Read what a wallet asks you to approve before signing anything.

If you think a credential has been exposed, stop sharing it and consult the genuine wallet provider's security guidance promptly. The appropriate response depends on the wallet and network. Do not follow a stranger's request to transfer funds or connect to another website.
