Having trouble accessing a wallet? First safe checks

First, identify whether you use a self-custody wallet or an account held by a provider. The right support route depends on who controls access.

Open the app or website through a route you already trust. Note the exact error and the wallet or provider name. Check the provider's official help pages before reinstalling an app, deleting data or attempting a restore.

A backup can matter when a device fails, but wallet types handle backups differently. Follow the documentation for your actual wallet. Never enter recovery information into a link sent by an unsolicited helper.

For a provider account restriction or identity check, contact that provider through its official channel. CryptoLiveHelp can help explain the terminology and organise safe questions to ask. Do not send us private credentials.
